Public Relations Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Public Relations Associate to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public relations principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of securing media coverage. In this role, you will play a key part in elevating our brand’s awareness and reputation through strategic media outreach and impactful storytelling.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute PR strategies and campaigns in alignment with our marketing goals.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with media professionals, influencers, and key stakeholders.
3. Draft compelling press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
4. Secure media coverage across various channels, including print, online, and broadcast.
5. Monitor media coverage and industry trends.
6. Assist with the planning and execution of PR events and initiatives.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and leverage PR opportunities.
8. Track and analyze PR campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights.
9. Stay up-to-date on the latest PR tools, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or a similar role.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and tailor messages to different audiences.
4. Strong media relations skills and established relationships with journalists and influencers.
5. Proven track record of securing media coverage and generating positive brand exposure.
6. Proficiency in PR tools and technologies, including media monitoring and distribution platforms.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Passion for technology and an understanding of the American SaaS industry is a plus.
